Once downloaded, you need to locate the right folder in order to install the driver files. From the above links, you can see that the Sabrent USB sound adapter has two different folders. If you use a Mac, its location would be: Mac OS X/drivers/Sabrent/M1/7
If you are using Windows XP, you should also install the Sabrent USB sound adapter. Should you forget this step, your device will not be detected, and the Boot Camp Assistant will not install the drivers.
To install this device for Windows XP and higher (from Vista upwards), you need to download and run the Sabrent USB sound adapter 7.1 driver. Follow the Windows installation instructions included in the download to update your USB sound adapter driver.
For Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10, from Vista upwards, you just need to download and install the Sabrent USB sound adapter 7.1 driver. The installation instructions for Windows 7 are bundled in the download, so you can skip the rest of the steps.
First off, download the driver from our Driver Database , and save it on your desktop. After you download a driver, right-click it and select the “Show Package Contents” option. This will will open the driver’s archive folder where you will see a file called “INSTALL” inside it. Double-click this file and a window will appear. It will have information about the driver. Take note of this information, because we will need to have it when we install this driver.
3) Before you start the installation, one thing you have to make sure is your USB has DriversForAll properly set to ON. If you are experiencing an error when you try to install the driver, just set it to OFF and restart the installation process. d2c66b5586
