Todo Backup is very simple and easy to use, making it suitable for both beginners and professionals. The backup feature is fully integrated with Windows Explorer making you able to drag and drop your data on the app. Todo Backup can do various types of backups:

Backing up individual files

Backing up to a file system

Backup to external drives

Todo Backup is designed to restore individual files or whole partition. It's capable of backing up both system and user data. Individual files and folders can be backed up to any drive by dragging and dropping them on the application. A folder can be backed up using the default folder browser or any other drive. Using the default file manager, you can select multiple files or folders to be backed up. You can also use Todo Backup to backup installation files, bootloader, Windows registry, drivers, and software applications.

You can restore any backed up file by simply pressing a restore button. The app will scan the backup drive and quickly locate the file that you want to restore. The backup files will be listed in a tree view. You can choose the file and click the restore button. Todo Backup supports automatic and incremental backups.

You are also able to select the backup options. You can enable backup settings such as Backup on system shutdown, Automatically backup on system shutdown, Backup size, Backup date, Keep backup copies, and Display the log file. To activate the settings, click on the Backup Options tab.

Upon starting the backup, the program will prompt you to select the destination drive. You can manually select the destination drive or choose the default option. It will also ask you to decide whether you want to back up the My Documents folder, Programs and Data folder, Windows Explorer folder, Start Menu, or Other folder.

This package includes a backup utility that can backup data to compressed backup files. You can choose a backup location, set a backup schedule, and add files from the current directory to the backup process using the Backup and Restore menu items.

You can also schedule a backup without using the Backup and Restore menu items. This function will allow you to choose the time to backup and device to back up to. You can choose to back up on a schedule or a single event.

You will be able to restore files to a device that is connected via USB port or network connection. You can select backup files in the Backup and Restore menu items.
