I tried to load those maps with the console and it worked. I tried the file locations I had found and it worked with every single map, except one. I assume this is because of the issue I had with the MP_MAP_NAME file. After looking into the map file of the modded version, I found out that there was something wrong, because I could play the game and see the command messages in the console, but nothing happened and this is the exact reason why.
Some of the maps are extremely simple, no spawns, nothing, no entrances or exits, just a plain modded map of a map I found somewhere. One is actually near the end of the game. Then there is a map which features a lot of spawning. What I have done is just to copy the files and paste them into the map folder, which worked fine for the most of the maps, but not for the one that has a lot of spawning. I assume this is due to the issue I had with the MP_MAP_NAME file not found. I have no clue how to fix this or if it's even possible.
I think that you're going to get your stuff in the hand of the GM's if you don't make a quick way to get this done. It will take you about a half a day at most to get this all done. I believe the best way to do it is to make a usermap folder in the main directory. The names don't matter as long as they start with a. and end with.iwd and should be in folders containing the.ff and.iwd files.
In the code there's a file named mp_respawn_cfg_auto_respawn_cfg.ini which has debug code in it, but it's nearly identical to mp_respawn_cfg_auto_respawn_cfg.ini.
The same applies for mp_map_cfg.txt's mp_respawn_cfg.txt and mp_respawn_cfg.txt's mp_respawn_cfg.ini. There are quite a few lines in mp_respawn_cfg.txt that are the same as the file's mp_respawn_cfg.txt and mp_respawn_cfg.ini.
