The Supergirl series finale has finally arrived. In part one of the two-part finale, titled \"The Last Gauntlet,\" the Super Friends are backed into a corner after the 5th Dimensional Imp Nyxly and super genius sociopath Lex Luthor kidnapped Esme in last week's episode. Lex leaves a video for the team instructing them to hand over their five totems, as well as the Destiny Totem that has yet to be claimed, in order to get Esme back. Alex and Kelly are obviously upset, with Alex threatening to kill Lex to get Esme back.
The Super Friends desperately search for Lex and Nyxly as Supergirl tries to calm Alex down and promises to get her daughter back. Over at Lex's lair, the evil couple return with Esme. Nyxly attempts the gauntlet for the Love Totem, but the trial fails to start. Instead, the rose petal tattoo on Esme's neck begins losing its petals, signifying the Love Totem will transfer to a new host when the last petal falls.
Lex insists that they have to remove the Love Totem before its too late, but Nyxly is firm on not hurting Esme under any circumstances. He tries again, telling her that she perished last time because she used magic to complete the Love Totem gauntlet. Nyxly makes Lex swear not to hurt Esme, which he does while ominously inspecting the Mxy-powered crystal ball.
Nyxly uses the story to tell Esme that going through bad experiences doesn't mean someone is destined for only bad experiences. Even with that connection the gauntlet fails to begin and more petals fall off the rose tattoo. A cutaway shows Lex watching the security feed, staring at the Mxy-orb once again.
Brainy and Nia find the Destiny Totem and tell the team that they sensed Esme is safe for the time being. Supergirl flies off to get the Dream Totem, revealed to be a statue of the thread of life spun by the Fates of Greek mythology. Taking on the gauntlet, Supergirl is shown a glimpse of her destiny, seeing the world in flames thanks to Lex and Nyxly.
Nyxly intervenes and accidentally completes the gauntlet by protecting Esme from Lex. She leaves with Esme for the rendezvous, no longer trusting Lex and telling him so to his face. Nyxly and Esme then meet with Alex and Kelly at the designated location, a bridge where technology and superpowers are negated.
Supergirl is an upcoming American television series developed by writer/producers Greg Berlanti, Ali Adler and Andrew Kreisberg set to air on CBS. It is based on the DC Comics character Supergirl (Kara Zor-El), created by Otto Binder and Al Plastino. Supergirl is a costumed superhero who is the biological cousin to Superman and one of the last surviving Kryptonians. The series was officially picked up on May 6, 2015 after receiving a series commitment in September 2014, and will debut in November 2015.Twenty-four-year-old Kara Zor-El, who was taken in by the Danvers family when she was 12 after being sent away from Krypton, must learn to embrace her powers after previously hiding them. The Danvers teach her to be careful with her powers, until she has to reveal them during an unexpected disaster, setting her on her journey of heroism. The costume for Supergirl was created by Colleen Atwood, who also designed the costumes for Arrow and The Flash. Benoist stated that she is aware of the costume worn by Kara in the comics books, and expressed that the \"micro-mini hemline\" of the skirt could be \"a little daunting but that's good. I like being pushed.\"Promotional photos of Benoist wearing Atwood's design were released on March 6, 2015. Atwood indicated that she wanted to \"embrace the past but more importantly, thrust her into the street-style action hero of today.\" (source: en.wikipedia.org)
Lex Luthor descends upon Washington, D.C. and summons Lena and Lillian Luthor to the White House. Supergirl realizes she has one last chance to stop Lex and turns to the power of the press to help her.
It first appears in the beggining sequence when Murdoc goes to a hearing with HIT top executives. Though first he is asked to remove all weapons and Murdoc lays the M1911 on the hood of his car. He uses the gun again at MacGyver's houseboat. He first keeps it in his holster and takes it out when Mac gets out of the trap. After blowing up Mac's rental car with FIM-43 Redeye, Murdoc chases Mac to the forest with the M1911 at hand. He later is seen screwing a suppressor on to it in order to shoot a lock and enter a cabin without alarming Suzanne Walker. He withdraws when he hears the little girl using a secret entrance to cabin. Once he manages to get alone with MacGyver, he has a camera setup where the pull of the M1911's trigger will activate the camera and take a photo of MacGyver's death. After foiled by distraction by Amy and chairshot from MacGyver, Murdoc fires at the two of them. He is last seen with the pistol holding Suzanne Walker hostage with it.
This FIM-43 is decked out with an additional see-thru plastic blast shield in front and oversized pear seal in rear. It could be that these parts were added to protect the actor Michael Des Barres from the pyrotechnics of the prop. It could also be to make the rocket launcher more unique looking. 59ce067264
